CHAPTER 3

FRIDAY

A week had passed since the last time we’d gone to the swinger club. And I was definitely feeling the need for another release.

From the aggressive way Gary had driven us across town, I could tell that he'd been feeling the same urgency.

Not that either of us had any particular reason to feel that way, of course. We’d had so much sex in the past week that we would have put most couples in their early twenties to shame.

It was almost unheard of for a couple that had been together as long as we had to still be fucking so often. At least it was among my friends.

“Are you ready to have some fun tonight?” my husband asked, taking my hand as we got out of the car and walked toward the entrance of the club. “It doesn’t even feel like it’s been a whole week already.”

“It doesn’t,” I agreed. “And yeah, I’m more than ready to have some fun.” I smiled up at him. “But I don’t know if it’ll even compare to all the fun I’ve been having with you these past few days. I’m still a little sore after last night, to be honest.”

He grinned. “I didn’t mean to go so hard, but you turn me on so damn much. It's hard to hold back sometimes."

"That's okay. I don't want you to hold back—well, not too much. Sometimes it's nice to be tender, but other times it's fun to be rough, don't you think?"

“Yeah,” he nodded. “Even if this adventurous side of you ends up giving me a heart attack, it’ll be worth it.”

I laughed even though that was a mortifying thought. “Don’t worry, babe. I won’t push you too far outside your boundaries. But -- it has been fun trying new things. We should keep doing more of that.”

His eyebrows shot up to meet his hairline in a surprised expression. “More new things? How much more can we do. We’re going to be swinging from the light fixtures before too long at this rate.”

I tossed my head back and laughed again. Some of the naughty ideas I’d been having lately would shock my poor husband. But bless him, he was trying to keep up with each of my new whims. I definitely had to give him credit for that.

“Just keep an open mind, babe,” I said without revealing anything. “That’s all I’m asking.”

I could tell by the way he looked over at me that he knew I was holding back a little. “Okay -- ” was all he said.

That was enough of a commitment for me, though. For the moment, at least.
